There could be various other reasons why a student should go for a private examination instead of regular studies. - Candidates who are failed in 10th Class in Delhi Secondary Examinations.
- Students who have already passed their 10th class but want to add additional subjects. They should apply for the same within 6 years of passing their 10th class.
- The students who have passed the examination in the last year can apply in the current year to improve their performance.
- Candidates having a compartment in the March and July session can apply for the failed subject.
Special Note:
CBSE Patrachar Vidyalaya
- Women candidates can’t take admission to any subject that included the practical examination expect Home Science.
- Any Female student residing out of Delhi will not be eligible to get private examinations.
Available subjects to choose from
- The subjects available to choose are Hindi Course-A, Punjabi, Mathematics, Painting, Home Science, Hindi Course-B, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, English, Language, and Literature.
- All the subjects except Home Science and Hindi Course-B will include 80 Marks of Theory and 20 Marks of Interna Assessment. However, Home Science will be of 75 by 25 structure and the Painting exam will be of 100 Marks with full Theory.
