NIOS Class 12th Syllabus
NIOS Admission
NIOS Class 12th course is for the students who have passed their 10th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board. The students who want to continue their studies and get a senior secondary certification can get admission through NIOS. The board allows the students to pick their desired subjects and streams and pass the NIOS examination in the way they want. However, a student must choose and pass a minimum of five subjects in order to complete this certification. One or two language subjects can be picked along with three compulsory subjects. However, the other subjects will be chosen from the others.
There are five main groups of subjects from which you can find and pick your desired ones. Let’s see what are those subjects below.
Group-A
In this group, you will find all the language subjects. You have to choose a minimum of one or a maximum of two language subjects. The subjects are:
Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Gujrati, Urdu, Bengali, Punjabi, Persian, Arabic, and Tamil.
Group-B
The subjects in the group-B are:
Home Science, Mathematics, Geography, Psychology, Business Studies, Economics, Sanskrit Vyakaran, Ved Adhyayan, Bhartiya Darshan, Data Entry operations, Painting, Tourism.
Group-C
The group C of NIOS Class 12th syllabus consists of these subjects.
Physics, Information Science, Library, History
Group-D
Chemistry, Political Science, Mass Communication.
Group-E
Accountancy, Biology, Introduction to Law
Group-F
Environmental Science, Sociology, Computer Science.
