CBSE 12th Class Syllabus will depend on the subject a student has chosen in the 11th class. A student has to pick a minimum of 5 subjects or more as per their 11th class. As per their desired streams in the 12th class, the students can create a combination of three subjects accompanied by two compulsory subjects.
The students can opt for the 6th additional subject if they want. However, the whole syllabus structure will be similar in all cases. Students opting for Arts, Commerce, and Science will have to choose different subjects of their interest. The whole idea is to make students self-aware of their interests and the areas they want to grow in. Let’s discuss some more about these subjects below.
Compulsory Subjects

The students have to opt for 5 compulsory subjects where one language subject will be compulsory. Let’s see what structure the students will have to follow.
Subject 1- Hindi Elective or Core/ English Elective or core.
Subject 2- Any language subject not opted in Subject one or ther Academic elective.
Subject 3, 4, and 5- Any three subjects from Academic Electives
Additional Subjects (Optional)
The students, if want, can opt for an additional subject and make the whole count of subject 6. The students can pick any subject from the list of elective subjects which they haven’t picked in the compulsory subjects.
